We are incredibly proud to share that Marc Pollitt, a Recruitment Consultant at one of our valued partner companies, took on the Manchester Half Marathon in support of our charity partner, Magic Breakfast.
About the Event
The Manchester Half Marathon is a 13.1 mile challenge that starts and finishes near the iconic Old Trafford, and is easily the biggest half-marathon in the North West. The 2025 event sold out in under 10 minutes, with over 26,000 participants registered, making it one of the largest half marathons in the UK. It is a huge event with an incredible atmosphere, and completing it is no small achievement.
Why It Matters
We believe that every child deserves a nutritious, stigma-free breakfast to start their day, and we are committed to making this a reality for as many children as possible. That’s why we have partnered with Magic Breakfast to fund 1 million breakfasts, and Marc’s efforts on the course bring us one step closer to that goal.
Every mile Marc ran and every pound raised goes directly towards ensuring that children across the UK do not start their school day hungry. It is a cause that means a great deal to everyone at The Classroom Partnership.
